Spike's dogs 8/14/10 (lb18532)

I went up to Boston this weekend but stopped off in Providence to pick up my son and went to Spikes Junkyard Dogs on Branch st on 146 exit there all I can say is WOW
First off very nicely done on the outside then I walked in and it was very clean and nicely decorated as you can see in the pictures.
The dogs are bigger then the average dogs here in NY size wise .
The staff was very nice first I had a chili cheese dog, then a Texas Ranger BBQ sauce,bacon,cheddar they were not served on a traditional bun I asked about it they said they make the buns on the premise it is a french roll ( they look like a small loaf of Italian bread)it was great my son had a cheesesteak sandwich and he said it was pretty good also we also had some cheese fries that were very good the dogs are 100% beef. They also have burgers,chicken wings and ice cream and other deserts we also didn't relies there is a Spikes a few blocks from Fenway Park we saw it after the show while we were sitting in traffic trying to get out of Boston.
If you are in Providence or the Boston Area I recommend Spikes very much.
