We have been using pre-made naan bread and then we crisp it up before putting on toppings. No mushroom clouds here! That was hilarious! Best laugh I've had in a while!

The mushroom cloud pizza is hilarious! I bet those ovens were not fun to clean!
I have not been able to make a beautiful pizza like davydd, but I can dress up a frozen one or make a decent one with balls of pre-made pizza dough from Kroger's.
At least I've thus far been spared from creating disasters like those!

I like the mushroom cloud pizza. It formed it's own funnel and all the ingredients went down the tube!

I have made some pretty good NY style pizza's at home. I got a good NY style crust by using low amounts of yeast and letting it ferment in the fridge for a few days.

I have learned much from you folks here about pizza and pizza making. I am now to the point where I can take a frozen pizza and make it edible. I know, I know... I still have a way to go.

But... I can make a concoction of onions, bell pepper, pickled jalapenos, canned mushrooms, green and black olives, garlic, Italian style tomato sauce, and extra cheese and meats... and wala!

And but... that IS allot of trouble!!! If there was somewhere close who made something like that I would just order it. Hey... I'm in near East Texas. :~(

You folks who can get a great pizza already cooked for you should not take it for granted.

I've had failures but I have at least baked on a stone, pan or screen without any fall throughs.

thats why we make strombolis & cook them on a baking sheet.
the main reason is we can't get the dough to come out round.
