Just don't put shredded carrots and celery in it and call it a "salad". That is just .... wrong. IMHO

But I agree with stricken about using fruit juices for the water! Num. Cold jello feels good in the throat when you swallow it.

I find that you don't get the green jello mold unless you leave it out for a few days.

Use cold orange juice in place of the cold water for orange Jello. YUM.

And I like cinnamon applesauce mixed into strawberry jello & a thawed box of frozen strawberries, then mold it. YUM.
