(chefbuba)

I just started serving breakfast a few weeks ago...Breakfast burritos w/ 3 eggs, potato, cheese, choice of ham, bacon, sausage or chorizo and fire roasted salsa, all in a 14" flour tortilla...weighs in around a pound.. biscuits & gravy... some of the best in town i'm told....made with plenty of sausage and 1/2 & 1/2...nice and rich....served with refferal to my cardioligist! also breakfast tacos.. chorizo, egg and cheese with avocado and salsa in a white corn tortilla.
I'm in a small town, word spreads fast, no one else serving breakfast burritos in town, the working class guys are catching on fast and spreading the word.
Go for it.....
Re:Breakfast tacos in New England? (Chowda Head)

Mike... I loved Wednesdays!! I had a kid that use to trade me his enchiladas for my dessert.

Ct has actually grown on me. Not so hot!! Besides, my wife is from Scotland and it's home away from home for her, kinda...

We actually moved back down to San Antonio in 94. Worked in New Braunsfuls and commuted back and forth over off of WW White Rd. I really miss the food though!! Cant beat SA restraunts ... BTW...Try out La Chanita's over off of Goliad I believe. Half the menu is Mexican and the other half is Chinese. I honestly dont know how the two get along in the kitchen but it works and the food is excellent as well as cheap.

Finally moved back to CT in 97. Wife didn't like SA very much. The SE side a town was a lil rough for the kids as well...
Re:Breakfast tacos in New England? (Chowda Head)

Hi Ya Mike!! I am from San Antone... Graduated Mac Arthur High in 79.

The yankees up here dont know what they are. They eat eggs, bacon, potatoes etc... Dont think they ever thought to put em all together an throw it on a flour tortilla with a lil hot sauce. Now how much more convienient can ya get?
Re:Breakfast tacos in New England? (Chowda Head)

How do you guys and gals think these Yankees would take to em off a cart or concession tailer?

A lil Chorizo, eggs, potatoes an cheese with a lil hot sauce over the top. Maybe eggs, bacon, potatoes an cheese? Con Carne? It is not a norm here at all. In fact I haven't seen anyone at all in the state of CT (not to say that there isn't anyone sellin it).

In my area, If it caught on with the locals it would be a gold mine!
