I voted for Charleston and the South Carolina coast, since I love the availability of great seafood and Southern/soul/Low County food in the area. But, it is probably just an excuse to go eat the chocolate pudding at Hominy Grill again.

Since when do you need an "excuse" to eat the chocolate pudding at Hominy Grill?

Joe, where were you last February when the Glee Club was in Charleston for the weekend? You certainly don't need a reason to visit SC, just transportation. We've taken the guesswork out of every restaurant for you! Chris

I don't care where the next Tour goes. I just need the dates and destination to be announced further in advance, please. I had to miss NM because my September was already fully booked.

Ahh, the thorn in our side, Suzy! Plus this year's NM tour was on a Friday/Saturday, which lowered the attendance even further. Hopefully the dates will be announced way in advance AND it'll be on a Saturday/Sunday. We missed you in NM, but I know we'll see you in December! Chris

Why wouldn't East TN qualify? We have a lot of mountain food available as well as outstanding entertainment in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

The airport in Knoxville is very modern and has direct flights from many cities including NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta and many others.

The scenery, food, quality of East TN would certainly entice many folks around the USA. The Tennessee Valley is one of the most scenic places in the USA in the world due to its lakes, mountains, food and other neat places.

As I have been following the voting scorecard for the next trip, it would be interesting to elimate the bottom tier of locations and re-run the poll for another week. It might be interesting to see what develops as the flavor choices are reduced. KC, Pitt, LA and Philly would depart as they are under 10%. The others are really closely bunched together.

While there is no way to gauge, are folks voting for their most want to visit area, a previous great area to visit, their hometown area, etc. Perhpas folks will offer comments here on their selections.

I choose Portland and the South Maine Coast as I have never been there, enjoy the foods represented on trips to this area by others and have enjoyed these trip reports the most!
