I wouldn't mind trying Lutefisk, though I can't say I salivate at the thought.... I'm right there with the lefse and meatballs, though, and I can always force myself to eat pie and Norwegian bakery. Too bad for me that I can't go to the dinner in Stoughton, but I found this list of Lutefisk dinners in Wisconsin:

I'm thinking of trying to attend the Norwegian supper in Sheboygan on November 14. Brad, see what you've started? I'm now trying to channel my inner Norwegian.

Some sleuthing led me to the webpage for the Sons of Norway in Milwaukee--it looks like they have a Torsk dinner scheduled for November 13, though they list "boiled cod fish" and not Lutefisk:

Unfortunately I don't think the appropriate beverage will be served.

Depending on the time of day we might be able to work in some pillaging afterward.

(In all seriousness, Kathy and I are thinking about attending and maybe even forcing some "heritage" on the younger child.)
