Thanks for your input!
Re:Looking for pizza in West Allis WI (cjucoder)

 Thanks so much everyone!

Sure, I know Maria's. I was there with the Contingent for dinner not too long ago. That would be economical too, with those table size pies! I'm just thinking they wouldn't stay hot enough to drive them home that distance.

I forgot about Filippo's. I used to go there often many years ago.

I had a tweet conversation with someone about Mama Mia's a while ago. I was told the Greenfield Ave. location is not the same as it once was and has really gone downhill. I'll probably still try it sometime though to make up my own mind. That was one of my high school hangouts

Some of my family prefers thicker crust, so I may check out MFL's suggestion of Mr D's. That's practically walking distance and they deliver.

Thanks for the suggestions. Anymore are welcome. Can't wait to explore my new neighborhood.
Re:Looking for pizza in West Allis WI (ann peeples)

I concur with all of my friends above....
Re:Looking for pizza in West Allis WI (X1)

 I agree with Filippo's and Maria's. Yum!
There's also Di Stefano's, and there's a Mama Mia's on Greenfield.
Is Johnny V's Pizza still open? I heard it was good, but have never tried it. Same with Big Ebe's.

Re:Looking for pizza in West Allis WI (MilwFoodlovers)

That would be the Caradaro Club.
Closest to you was my thicker crust favorite Mr. D's II on 110th & National.
Fillipo's on 70th & Lincoln is in 'Stallis
Maria's on 50th & Forest Home is not very far either
Personal preference will always win out but you wouldn't go wrong with any of these, plus there are many other good choices in West Allis, a real pizza loving city.
Re:Looking for pizza in West Allis WI (stricken_detective)

There is a little hole in the wall joint, I do not even know their name. They are on 70th St across from the Pick N Save on the West side of the street. If you cross Greenfield, you went too far.

I don't know where the park you're talking about is, but that is my West Allis recommendation.

Looking for pizza in West Allis WI (cjucoder)

I am moving to West Allis, WI (a suburb of Milwaukee) to a place next to Greenfield Park on Saturday the 30th. I want to treat everyone who helps me move with pizza and beer, but I have no idea of where to get the pizza. Can someone recommend a place?
