I have never seen a noodle like that. Short, thick, just right for a soup like this. I was gonna guess chicken broth. Oh, and spicy Italian sausage, and onions, just keeps soundin better and better!
Joe
Re:Pics of the Cream of Jalapeno, Sausage, Noodle Soup (chewingthefat)

PapaJoe8

Chewer, I want details. What kinda broth / flavoring did you use? Jalapenos, fresh or piclked? What kinda sausage is that? And, what kinda short fat noodles are those? And Chicken and Dumplins are kinda thick and I like that so... this looks good to me.
Joe

Joe, fresh, seeded Jalapenos, a green pepper, spanish onion, Chichen broth, whole cream. I liquify the Jalapeno, onions, green peppers in my Vita Mixer[the greatest gadget in my kitchen], add a little chicken broth to help liquify. Add the liquid to the Chicken broth simmer, adding ground thyme and parsely, the noodles are a fantastic new Noodle I found at COSTCO last week, I threw the package away before I memorized the name, as I'm sure they will be a keeper for the COSTCO people, The sausage is Primo brand hot Italian, also a COSTCO staple. grill it whole, cut it up over the pot to capture the juices, simmer all ingredients till the noodles are 95% done, add the whole cream last, slowly up to temp, These noodles hold really well. that said, I like them to get the additional 5% from the steam table holding process

Re:Pics of the Cream of Jalapeno, Sausage, Noodle Soup (PapaJoe8)

Chewer, I want details. The Noodles and Cream give it great texture and take the edge off some of the heat as the Sausage is Hot Italian!

Notice the incredibly expensive spoon!
