My tax dollars spent on Public TV and Radio are tax dollars I have the fewest issues with! Other Government areas of spending however... *cough*cough*... By rules of the forum I will go no further.

If the voters were indeed the members/contributors to MPT, this might be a good advertising buy. Maybe one of your best food porn pictures, with just:

After reading about an "award" that Jimmy Buff in NJ was given, I have to ask: Is this legit?

A quick Google search only turns up your name and this thread in connection with MPT. I can't find anything on MPT's web site about a restaurant poll. I don't get MPT, so don't know if it is just something promoted on-air.

It's legit, The lady who called me left her number for me to call her back as I wasn't here, when I called the Operator answered Maryland Public Television. As far as thw website, it won't be until March when the results are released to the subscribers.

Just got contacted by MPT that we were the 13th most popular Restaurant in Matyland out of over 900 nominated, I know I was being worked for an add in the publication that comes out in March, I thought at first, 13, what's the big deal, but there are a lot of fine Restaurants in my fine State, and I guess it's an honor. The subscribers to MPT, I presume, are a pretty good cut!
