The first time I went, however------I ordered the rib tips with the mild sauce. Halfway thru, I decided I wanted to try their hot bbq sauce too. When I went up to the window, I was informed that a small plastic container of sauce would run me $0.50. I passed. Some times places can just be ridiculous. If the owner had been there I think it might have been different-----I can't see an owner doing something that would jeopardize someone returning for two tablespoons of bbq sauce.
Re:Charge for "extra" BBQ sauce (MellowRoast)

I don't think a tablespoon of Milo's hamburger bbq sauce would be enough on a burger (maybe on a slider), but that's individual taste, of course. Most people, including me, want it dripping in the stuff. I mention Milo's to illustrate how not charging for their extraordinary sauce didn't stand in the way of profits. I'm sure some don't mind an extra charge for sauce or dressing, but I honestly believe most regard it as annoying, at best. (I may talk like Perry Mason, but I look like Trapper John.)

Re:Charge for "extra" BBQ sauce (ces1948)

For me a tablespoon would probably be plenty on a hamburger.
