Has anyone been to Hot Dog U. , and if so was it worth it. I know it probably was fun,, but was it worth your time and money ?? Matty

There's been plenty written on here about HDU. Suggest you use the search function. click on "Forums" on the homepage tool bar. When Forums come up, enter "Hot Dog University" in the search phrase block at the upper right. Hit enter--- Walla!
You'll learn about HDU plus a whole lot of other Hot Dog Related stuff

I myself have been tempted to take the course... Even though I'm in the food service industry, you think you know it all until you talk to CSD! Every time he emails me, I learn a little tidbit of info. If you attend the course, make sure you bring plenty of paper to take notes with...

I've never attended but Mark (Chicagostyledog) is an entertaining teacher. From the recent Sun-Times article:

"People here at Vienna Beef would probably rip out my tongue if I said it’s OK to put ketchup on your hot dog stand.”

Anybody who's met him knows that even that wouldn't shut him up...
