I tasted one, they stayed home, both of them. Incredibly good in the morning with my coffee. Anyone tried one, like, no like?

I make several of them every year around the Christmas holidays.. I give them as gifts to my friends and sold several of them to the Miata club bake sale. Believe it or not, they went for better than $50.00 each. Those of you who posted that it was a yellow cake, you are correct. The key is to make a drizzel of heavy rum with sugar and butter and punch holes in the cake and soak it with the rum, sugar and butter mixture and let it soak for a day or so. In addition I use pecan crumbles in the bottom of the bundt pan and it works out really good. Fairly easy to make but make sure you use a oil flour covering in the pan to allow easily exit from the pan. It keeps it pretty also.

I sorta heavy up on the rum mixture that I pour over the cake and in the cake.

Paul E.
