She doesn't need to keep tabs...That's what the tracker-probe is for. Remember, you can muffle it's effectiveness by wrapping a wet towel around your head.

I just thought it was kind of amusing and pretty Roadfood-y to boot.
and it's not so much watching them eat as it is watching the food pass by on the way to the diners.

Wait a sec. Isn't this the place that got pranked by some Canadian phone pranksters? They called the manager posing as health authorities and told him that the food was infected with something. The callers instructed him to have his staff tell the patrons to get to an ER while they recorded the reaction from the webcam. You'd think that after that experience any restaurant owner would be out of his mind to stream live video.

I meant the crab shack website. The prejean's one is elegant by comparison, and the webcam works without downloading anything.

When I ate at Prejean's last Summer, I called Mariton and made her get on the site to see if she could see me. Unfortunately, my table was just off camera. Didn't stop me from getting up and waving at it a few times!

The Crab Shack in Georgia also has a live webcam.

Well, to be fair they eat much much more than that.
That's right , Prejean's in Louisiana has a webcam that lets you gawk at poor unsuspecting diners ( and if you are me, rate the waitstaff) just as if you were there! the thing is ;
A: I have no idea how to post a link to the webcam.
2: Is this where this thread should be?
B: Would a very kind interwebnet friendly Roadfooder possibly do that ol' link magic that you do so well?
It's kind of neat to watch, MUCH better than the Big Texan Cam!
