I've only been to Teds, and loved it; if I'm ever up that way again I'll try Dry Dock.

Cool you will enjoy the Steamed Cheeseburger and the down to Earth atmosphere .

I recently went with my family to listen to some accoustic music at a place
called The Dry Dock located at 68-1/2 Quinnipiac Ave. Wallingford, CT 09492. 203-626-5560.
Anyway we decided to sit down and look at there menu.
Some of the regulars said try the Steamed Cheeseburger so my wife and I did just that.Since I had in the past had Ted's famous Steamed Cheeseburgers I wanted to see why this one was so popular.
When we got our order .I was impressed .The Cheeseburger was very cheesy and had lettuce and tomato on it aswell.The burger itself was big and beefy .
My first bite and I was hooked.
I can't believe I am about to say this .
The Dry Dock Steamed Cheeseburger is better then Teds and they are using an original Steam Cheeseburger Maker from the old days .
Maybe that is what makes this burger better then Teds in Meriden Ct.
I also had fries with it and they were also good and golden brown.
The Steamed Cheeseburger platter ran me under $6 dollars and was very filling indeed.
The Dry Dock is open daily and has a full menu for breakfast,lunch or dinner.
Its a very cool place and casual attire is fine.
My suggestion is if you like Steamed Cheeseburgers and live in Connecticut .
Give them a try and you also will be hooked.
