I just picked mine up!

I can't believe the number of new restaurants listed in this edition!

Some of you know I've been taking a back seat to the and have been out of commission (Roadfood wise) due to a couple of expected (more condo renovations) and unexpected snags.
Without going into any specifics, the bad news is that PREDNISONE sucks! and the good news is that I think I'm the only person who has lost almost 30 lbs while on the stuff which explains why I've been avoiding looking at all of the trip reports over the last couple of months, however the even better news is that finally I'm being tapered off the prednisone which means I'll get to have a life again and it appears a couple of baseball/roadfood trips coming up this summer!)

Anyway, I skimmed through the book and I cannot think of anything more flattering than receiving a couple of nods from Jane and Michael in the new book, however I cannot begin to thank the Stern's for the amazing Roadfood that they have introduced me and countless others to during the last 3 and a half decades (ok for me it's been just over 20 years)

Well Ann, when I mentioned previously that I bought the 2008 edition at Barnes & Noble, I was admonished for it. So, I definitely didn't buy it there.

The 2011 Roadfood book is out and I just picked up my copy. It is great to see Roadfood forum favorites included, such as Farmer's Kitchen and Charlie's Pool Room. Can't wait to spend the rest of the night reading through it!
