I had an exquisite Adovada Burro smothered in a very tasty Green Chile sauce today at this relatively new place at 3763 Wynkoop, right off Brighton in Denver.
We were getting airshocks installed and the mechanic suggested a cafe up the street, but a Mexican Bar & Grill that opens at 8:00 AM was too alluring to pass up.
Owned by 2 cousins, D.J. and Gary, and friends, they've only been open a few months, taking over for a Czech place that used to reside there.
Our bartender Dawn and cook Marco could not have been nicer, including a complimentary order of chips and his very good salsa to go with our Fat Tires. :)
A very extensive menu including Huevos Rancheros and many other treats made the choice a hard one, but I love Adovada so it was a no brainer for me.
No pictures, as we were in this evolving industrial/arts area near the Coliseum to get shocks, but I would heartily recommend this to anyone seeking tasty Mexi food in The Mile High City.
