Going to NOLA in August for the Shatsmo Musicfest. Never have been to Mosca's yet. It is on my short list. So many great place in New Orleans

John Mosca, the owner of Mosca's, in Avondale, Louisiana, passed away. Here is the news article.

I never met the man, but have enjoyed the spectacular food at his restaurant.
