I doesn't even look good and sounds disgusting. I wouldn't pay anything for it and would be afraid to even taste it. If at the stadium, I will settle for a regular dog and a beer.

It's not even that imaginitive... some of the first things I think of when I think expensive food is truffle and caviar, I thought it would be more inventive than that.

White truffle shavings, creme fraiche, caviar, and fresh roe are just as bad as putting ketchup on a hot dog. Maybe worse. Charging this much for a hot dog is really to either get in the Guinness Book of World Records or to generate publicity. The "haute dog" is usually the creation of a bored chef looking for attention and/or to satisfy his ego. If these people really think a hot dog is worth that much, let them try to survive selling only $80.00 hot dogs. They know they would all go broke.

I would never pay too much for a hot dog, but if I was inclined to, I would rather overpay for a quality dog with mustard only rather than all the fancy toppings that only disguises the true flavor of a frankfurter. THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES!

If I were to spend that kind of coinage on a dog, I would feel guilty if I didn't add insult to injury, I would have to put Catsup on it. Just to see the look on the sellers face. Although if I bought one I would imagine the look on the seller's face, I think it would reflect the idea that I was one dumb SOB.

Question #1: Absolutely not. I wouldn't ruin a hot dog with all the fancy stuff.....and vice versa!

Question #2: If I wanted to be sure to sell one, I would put three $20 bills and a $10 bill in a plastic bag under the bun, along with all you wanted of your choice of normal toppings on top.
