It never gets close to that cheap around here. It was "on sale" at Publix a couple of weeks ago for $3.89 lb. &lt;br&gt;  &lt;blockquote class="quote"&gt;&lt;i&gt;deepfryerdan&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  That's such a bad price compared to the sale price you can get ot some meat counters. Our Meijer had ground Angus chuck on sale for 1.69 the other day. I bought 12 pounds..
