Can't make this one, but it sounds fantastic. I'll have to try that tour another time (I love being on boats). Please post back about how you guys liked it. I'll be watching for the Irish Fest thread.

OK- finalized plans is that we are on the Group D tour starting at Molly Cools on Sat July 30.
Mr. & Mrs. MilwFoodlovers will be joining us, and we will be at Molly cools around 12:30-12:45 (a little early) to chat and snack.
Call the Riverwalk Boat company at 414.283.9999 if you want to join in... should be fun.

Actually, Irish Fest is coming up in mid August, which means a Saturday lunch at Fred's in Burlington. I'll resurrect that thread soon to remind people of the date.

We are also unavailable for a Saturday tour. Wish we could be there.

Saturday Pub Crawl and Brew Tour

I am leaning towards Group B which would start at the Milwaukee Ale House at 1 PM, (we could meet there earlier for some snacks- their menu looked the more promising to me.) and would wrap up back at the Ale House at 5 PM
Group A starts slightly earlier, C slightly later...

I doubt I could do a brewery tour on the 30th, but I may be able to meet up later in the day for dinner or Kopps. Not sure about late August--kind of doubt it, depending on work, but not sure.

I checked with The PieDiva, she prefers 7/30 tour. We'll be in AZ (& Vegas) at the end of August.

Elaine - I think 7/31 would work for us. We just did Sprecher again (the $15 beer & cheese pairing) and really enjoyed it.

Abe - What, you've never heard of designated drinkers?

Snacks at each stop would be good.

I used to really like the Ale House's food, but their kitchen is under new management. It may still be good & local, and we have a coupon from the Entertainment book.
Lakefront's fishfry was a disappointment for my family, but I don't know about their other offerings.
Rock Bottom = Chain.

OK- SO I just called them to check on the "includes food" part...
and it doesn't...LOL that's for other tours and it's part of their standard language-
it includes samples at each of the breweries, and they don't offer a lower ticket price for designated drivers/non-drinkers...(huh?)
However there are snacks available for purchase at each of the brewpubs...
However I did find out there is also another tour on Saturdays where they swap out Molly Cools Seafood Tavern/Pub for Lakefront Brewery.
We could do that either July 30 or August 20 if Sat is better for some folks.

Mr. Maki is interested, but I'm not much of a beer drinker, so it doesn't hold much appeal for me. The website says the ticket includes food- anyone know if that's a full meal somewhere, or pretzels on the boat? If it's a real amount of food, I might consider it. I think either date would work for us.

The Hubs and I are feeling like the summer is slipping by and we are strongly considering taking the Riverwalk Boat Tours Sunday Brewery Tour of 3 Microbrewerys next Sunday July 31:
Lakefront Brewery, Milwaukee Ale House, Rock Bottom Brewery.
