Reviews on Trip Advisor says the place was dirty and the service was awful. What was your experience?

Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of that. Darn! I wanted to see those home fries with cheddar cheese.

On motorcycle tour last week, we had great breakfasts at Al Smith's restaurant in Toledo. The high point for me was the home fries. Just look at the photo and you can almost taste them. You can order them with cheese, onions, and perhaps other stuff.

Here are other photos from that breakfast:

- Buddy's breakfast - note the cheddar cheese + home fries
- Nearly empty restaurant early in the morning
