I have to agree with Mr.Hoffman as well. The travel channel has the Hambuger Paradise, Steak paradise, this paradise and that paradise and they limit themselves to those few geographic locations. Why don't we see any Tex_mex paradise, Jewish deli paradise, All you can eat Cinese paradise? About the only program worth a crap on the travel channel is Anthony Bourdian and somethime I get enought of him too. Give me that guy with the 69 camaro on the Food Channel anytime.

I agree with part of Cheesehead's beef. (Pun intended ) While you don't have to be in cow country to have a good burger or steak it does bother me that many food/travel show seem to think that good things can only be found in the Northeast, Chicago and California. Though I do think that this trend has been changing or the past couple years.

I have to agree with Mr. Hoffman( and mjambro) We have plenty of cows raised for beef in Wisconsin, and I have had many better burgers outside our state.

How many cows are raised in Connecticut or New York City? Please. Hit the bread basket where cows are actually raised.

2007 - Uconn where cow tipping is a pastime & their dairy bar has about the ice cream anywhere.
CT population - 3.5M

1 head of cattle for every 67 people
1 milk cow for every 184 people
1 hog for every 875 people
Slightly less than 1 chicken per person

Would you travel to Iowa (#1 swine hog production) to get great pork BBQ?

Ever try to get a decent steak in KS? Much easier in NYC.

Apparently there are lots of cows raised in Connecticut, according to the University of Connecticut, formerly Connecticut Agricultural College. Is there some reason why you believe the only hamburgers worth mentioning are in places where cattle are raised?

What a complete joke this show was. Every single place shown was either from the Northeast or in California except for one place in Kansas. And the place they picked? White Castle burgers. How many cows are raised in Connecticut or New York City? Please. Hit the bread basket where cows are actually raised.
