Our basic French onion soup, Swiss and provalone cheese, swiss on top of the crouton, then 2 slices of crisp bacon on top of the swiss, broken in half to fit, then the provalone, 2 more slices of bacon broken in half on top, a minute under the broiler to melt the cheese, voila, a sight for sore eyes and a taste sensation to tell your Grandchildren about!
