Thanks chef, for world class menudo any drive is well worth it. Don't mind food carts at all. Some of the best stuff comes out of food carts. Thanks again.

Willing to drive a bit for menudo? World class is available at El Taco Rico, 810 Vargas in the Montopolis neighborhood. Plenty info on this lady chef Yolanda Sanchez Cornejo. El Taco Rico is the best Mexican restaurant in Austin. PS: It's a food cart.

Some Indian restaurants also serve excellent goat. Don't limit yourself to Mexican.

Oh nice, there's nothing like that up in Georgetown that I can find. I asked at Dos Salsas why they don't put it on the menu and they said there wasn;'t much call for it. Can't get a decent bowl of menudo around here either.

Cool. Back when work had me going to Yuma, AZ all the time, I scored some seriously good goat tacos from one of the stands there.

I can't get enough goat in me lately. I've been scouring Austin for the stuff and have met some good success as we have a high volume of taquerias due to our proximity to Mexico.

Found a great new source today. It's taco stand next to the big flea market on hwy 290 east 10 minutes east of Austin.

2 bucks will buy you a delicious taco. This is Mexican food, real deal style.
