If I had to guess I'd say Bill's coming straight up I-39 and then taking WI-10 west from Stevens Point.

Bill, how much are you willing to detour? Any ideas right now about where you'll be at the different times of day?

In Birmingham, I'd recommend you swing by Miss Myra's Pit BBQ in Vestavia Hills.

In Nashville, Prince's Hot Chicken Shack - phone in your order! - and then dessert at Pied Piper Creamery (they close at 9), and breakfast the next morning at Pancake Pantry.

Greetings y'all. We're planning a trip from S. FLorida to the wilds of Wisconsin in the next week or so and are looking for places to eat along the way. Planned route is up through Tallahassee to Nashville and then on to Marshfield WI. I've got the south part handled, as well as the far northern piece, but looking for places between Tallahassee and points north. Planning on going up through Montgomery and Birmingham Alabama, Nashville TN (overnight seems to work into the plan there); then Champaign/Urbana and Normal IL and on north. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
