It's pretty much an every Friday all year thing here in Northern Illinois too but during Lent the various clubs like KC, VFW and Legion come out with Fish fries at a hall or their club.

In Western PA it's Fish Fry Friday every day of the year for some strange reason but for those of us that love fried fish it's a blessing!

Lent has nothing to do with it when you live where I do.

Although Mrs. SC and I have been Bad Wisconsinites lately, as we haven't gone out for Friday Fish in ages. I think we'll be atoning for that in a couple of days.
