Nice site. But in searching here in McKinney, TX I did fine a number of closures. In any case I'll put it into my 'restaurant' file in favorites as I did disover a place for linch tomorrow on it.

Hi all,

As one of the co-founders of Qmato, I'm really glad that you're finding it useful. That means a lot to us.

We take closed restaurants seriously but we agree that we have room to improve there. Closed restaurants are hard to keep on top of. You can clear out 99% of them but the remaining 1% do stick out like a sore thumb. Anyway, this is definitely something we're working on.

If there are questions, comments, requests, or more feedback about Qmato I would be more than happy to take them here or via PM, as long as it's ok with the moderators.

Like any directory, It starts to become outdated the day it's printed. With all the restaurants closed as a result of the economy, it's understandable.

Yes lots of closed places in my area also but there is also some quite up to date info.

Pretty interesting site but some of the information in my location shows places that have been closed for years.

You can search by town, zip or state as well as Cusine, Meal type(BLD), Service, Value etc.
