Asparagus - I planted my little bed of ten roots 15 years ago and it still produces my favorite vegetable in good quantity, as much as a pound a day in good weather. Tonight I drizzled some in butter, dusted the spears with lemon pepper, then grilled them alongside a couple nice burgers. Simple is good.
