We have a "repurposed" BlueBird All American FE. One of the long ones.

Re:Gonna by a bus. (Brian Briggs)

Haven't taken any measurements yet, he was not around when I went by the other day. The engine (cummings diesel) and transmission was just given a clean bill of health and the ac works perfectly. I am getting this for a steal. I will not be doing a hood since all of my cooking is done on my bbq rig. I am however going to run gas and electrical lines for furure additions (including a hood). We will mainly be using this as a prep kitchen for a while for our Competition BBQ team and what little vending we do.

Here is the cooker we use. She will hold 104 racks of baby backs in one shot.

Re:Gonna by a bus. How long is it?
No offense, but you probably could have had a rig built for what it will cost you to get that build out on the street.
Re:Gonna by a bus. (Brian Briggs)

Looks like I am gonna take the plunge and buy a bus to start a kitchen build in. Looking to buy iy late June, going to look at it today. I will post pics soon! I have been loading all of my equipment onto my flatbed bbq trailer for each event and then unloading afterwards. That is getting OLD. Can't wait to load coolers, ice and meat then hook and book!

The best part, when someone asks if I rode the short bus I can say nope, I drive one LOL
