I didn't know they had country ham. It's been a while since I've been in.
But in all seriousness these new salads are borderline blasphemy.

They've had country ham for years. Poverty Pete turned me on to something I'd never thought of -- a country ham sandwich at Waffle House. I asked when I got back from Nashville a few months back and was told, "Sure, we'll make them anytime."

Oh, please! Waffle House has been serving salads with grilled chicken and with ham for years. In fact, I had a guy eating one of the grilled chicken salads sitting next to me at the counter this morning. It was so disgusting I almost couldn't finish my four eggs scrambled with cheese, country ham, and the hash browns scattered light, smothered, peppered and topped.

Yes, Ok, but these are the NEW FRESH Salads, not the old regular wilted salads!
What? No Raisin Toast & Grits this morning??

I don't know what happens at Waffle House stores near you, but around here they make their salads to order. As to raisin toast and grits -- I never touch raisin toast, and I get grits just about every third or fourth visit.
