I don't remember having any really good pizza during my stint there. Not while sober, anyway. Best delivery I found was Jet City Pizza (their wings were DISGUSTING, however). During lean periods we'd go to Pizza Time and get one loaded with everything, then take it home and cook it in the oven longer and it was passable.

Don't know where the best is, but we had possibly the worst pizza ever by Pike Place Market back in 1984 on a visit to the city. I think it was supposed to be Chicago style, but it was a huge fail. I'm guessing the place closed soon after we ate there. No memory of the name.

Well considering it has been almost 30 years, I'd be suprised if it was still there.

as a seattle native, i've tried pagliacci, it's similar to papa johns or pizza hut hand-tossed or dominos, but with better toppings. .

northlake is unique. it's a thin version of a chicago deep-dish pizza. it's also very good :)

stellar pizza in georgetown is similar to pagliacci, but with even better toppings, great sauce, great crust and is my current favorite seattle pizza.

the local, family-owned by vince mattola's vince's italian restaurant chain sometimes delivers pizza that is as good as anything on the east coast, but it is very hit-and-miss, depending on who is running the kitchen at the time.

The slide show was too annoying (jumping all over the page) to go all the way through. I'm with WJ that there is nothing close to good pizza in Seattle. I hope for the sake of those in 206-land that circumstances are improving there.

I forgot to mention that Serious Pie is a big favorite too. Just don't go at night unless you like waiting 30 minutes for a table. :/
