We've ordered BBQ by mail many, many times (from Moonlite, Dreamland, Corky's, Interstate, the Rendezvous, County Line, Clark's Outpost, Jack Stack, and perhaps a few others) and, yes, it's true that in almost all cases the results are a compromise. Good enough if you live in a barbecue-deprived region of the country but not up to "being there" levels. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  That said, we have found one other place, besides Louie Mueller, that excels at mail-order, and that's Black's of Texas.
