Yes, it's a diner but a very nice one, and the food (including breakfast) is excellent. It's probably 10-15 mins from the Campus (not sure exactly where you are starting from).

http://www.skylarkdiner.com/
Re:Places to eat a lunch near Rutgers Busch Campus (leethebard)

Can I add breakfast to my request. My wife is thinking we might take my son to a late breakfast. Again we have time restraints. So it can't be too far away.
Re:Places to eat a lunch near Rutgers Busch Campus (cmarie)

Highland Park isn't too far away and Pithari Restaurant has fantastIc Greek food.

Re:Places to eat a lunch near Rutgers Busch Campus (CCinNJ)

Oh wait a minute. They are only open until 3 pm but this location does a very good job and I know you like Waffle House.

http://www.originalpancakehouse.com/

817 Bloomfield Ave.
btwn Passaic & Bloomfield
West Caldwell, NJ 07006
(973) 575-9161

http://www.roadfood.com/R...original-pancake-house

http://www.roadfood.com/R...original-pancake-house

Places to eat a lunch near Rutgers Busch Campus (leethebard)

Will be visiting my son doing a summer program at Rutger's Busch Campus. Visiting is just a few short hours. We want to take him for a nice, but quick lunch or brunch. Any suggestions??
