How cool! I grew up eating at Howard's Famous Avocado Burger but it was called Walt's when it first opened.

My brother worked there for years (Both Walt's and Howard's)

How cool to see it listed on this blog.

It was only second on the list and I came right back here to comment. Now I have to read the rest of it.

Hi Greg,

Many thanks for the great link. Further down the page he even reviewed a place here in CT w/foot long chili dogs that I had not heard of before, even though it's only about 25 miles away...So many hot dogs, so little time to try them all, sigh...
