Is there a way to check this out to make sure it's not something nasty to infect your computer??????
Looks little too shaky to me.
Go down to your public library and try it on their computer. If anything goes wrong, you'll spread the cost of repairs among all the taxpayers and won't have to assume all of it yourself.

One way to do it (on a windows computer) is to create another account that does NOT have administrator privs, and browse from that computer. Much harder to get infected if the current user doesn't have "root" so to speak.
