I like mixing the powdered wasabi into batters, onto popcorn or in some sauces.

When I lived in Boston we had a "Chinatown".....not like NYC but big enough. I could find wasabi everywhere. I prefer the powder so you can regulate the amount of liquid added, thus the amount of heat.

Should have been on the shelf right next to the squeeze tube hot Chinese mustard. Don't buy it.

Time to give in and walk through Trader Joe's. They have a box of incredible Red Pepper Tomato Soup. As I said before, it is not expensive. You need to give it another look.

The Wasabi mustard AND mayo nsound GREAT but I have never seen them in any of the stores! I dont "do" Trader Joes" so they may have it but I dunno.
The Wasabi squeeze tube was the first time I had ever been able to find it. The other Wasabi they had was a powder type.

I'm surprised it was hard to find in California. Even the regular grocery stores here carry it.

Why didn't you ask me? All the markets around here carry it.

Try the Wasabi Mustard that Beaver makes or the Trader Joe's Wasabi Mayonnaise. You will love them. Very good on burgers.

I don't think anyone gets real wasabi here, even in the restaurants.

Finally found what I was looking for! This is SOoooooo hot but Sooooooooooo good.
