Even though I bookmarked the website for future (very limited) reference, I find it to be typical of most "anywhere" websites. Other than the Chicago area, there is no way to access a listing of food trucks in Illinois. (Jack in Springfield gets no mention and no way to find his address for anyone who does not already know it, as well as the Crave Truck that has operated in Champaign/Urbana now for two years. How many other towns in Illinois already have food trucks?) And, of course, the same question is applicable for all the rest of the states.

Al these kinds of web sites like this one and Urbanspoon only hit the major cities

I've yet to stop at a truck. That's my problem as I'd have to stop wherever I was headed. Then I'd have to park. I see them everywhere but just don't pull over.

I'm envisioning a setup somewhat akin to the midair refueling of large aircraft...the food truck and the car side by side at 70 MPH with money and goods being exchanged across the center line.

That's just what I was thinking.

I was lucky enough to watch that at an air show at Edward's Air Force Base. Awesome!

Never get out unless going in your houses to sleep----and some of youze come home, park in the driveway and sleep in your cars so you can get on the Freeway again at 4AM!
I'm sure some enterprising food trucker will devise a drive up window and it'll probably happen in CA first!
You need to find a Food Truck Festival so you can go, park once and sample a variety of food truck offerings!
