Wishbone Fried Chicken (Heartbreaksoup)

I came across a survivor of what used to be a small fast food chain (1970s vintage, judging by the signage, picnic area and fixtures) in Newnan GA yesterday. There is another outpost in Tifton GA and there was apparently once one in Augusta. There are similarly-named places, unrelated, in Toledo OH and Knoxville TN, but not quite the same.

Does anybody know more about these restaurants, or where others were located? I'm afraid that the rest of the chain vanished so long ago that Google is not much help!
