Maybe they have improved. I also question your rec of Hal and Mal's. It is a great music venue, but the food is extremely average. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Let me add a couple: &lt;br&gt;  Sal and Phil's or Fat Tuesday for New Orleans style food. &lt;br&gt;  Bravo&amp;nbsp;or Walkers Drive&amp;nbsp;In for upscale dining. &lt;br&gt;  I would rate Hickory Pit over the other Barbeque places you mentioned. &lt;br&gt;  Crachele's is a clasic. Take the Ridgeland exit off of I-55 just North Of Jackson at Exit 105 B. Go east and cross the tracks.&amp;nbsp; When you get to the light&amp;nbsp; they are in the shopping center across Highway 51.
