Cool place. Reminded me of "The Continent" back in the day. I had the shawirma combo at Firdous. It was just ok. I wouldn't get it again. My wife had ribs and chips from Holy Smoke. She said the ribs where very good. I tried the chips and they where very good. My son had the #10 at Lan Viet. I tried some of it. Excellent. When I go back that's what I'll have. Some of you recommended Jeni's. I've had that a couple of times at the Grandview location. I don't get it. I didn't care for it either time. Anyway. Thanks for the recommendations.
Re:Columbus Ohio - North Market (carlton pierre)

I love the North Market. I only get there once /twice a year but always fun. Similar venue in Nashville.
Re:Columbus Ohio - North Market (holdem)

 Thanks,
I used to play a lot. The Waffle place is great and so is the place that sells fresh ravioli that you take home and cook. The place that sells periogi's I really don't care for. They serve them in a slimy butter sauce that is way to heavy don't spill it on you because its not coming out. Do you play a lot of Holdem holdem?
Re:Columbus Ohio - North Market (holdem)

Thanks everyone. And Nida's sushi-never had the sushi but loved their thai curries. tried them this summer, it was still good but the serving size was 1/2 of what it used to be for the same price.

and of course, jeni's
Re:Columbus Ohio - North Market (holdem)

 thanks Michael.
