It runs from September 27th-30th 2012. Perhaps the most notable thing about the festival is the big skillet they use to cook the chicken in. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  It holds 300 gallons of grease so it's a big one. Cooks use giant paddles to fry 1200 pieces of chicken at a time. My dad and I went to the party in the late 90s and it's a good slice of small town Americana.
