I don't think I have a true value anywhere close to me. I have a harbor freight they might have them. I think your idea will work. Going to find some of the stuff today and see how it works out.

The ones in the link I think are white, but in my workshop I have some clear ones. May have got the clear hangers at a true value store.
The auto tape I am talking about is 3m brand and I got mine at O'reillys auto parts. It's the same stuff used by car makers to stick exterior trim pieces on cars. The trim stays on cars for years. I think I paid about $10 for a roll. Look up 3m double faced auto tape and you can see if it will work for you.

Do you think the automotive tape will hold up to high speeds? What do yout mean by clwwr plastic to hang Pvc pipe? Any pics of the plastic?

What about using double faced automotive tape? They use it to put trim pieces on auto's.
I've installed round rope lights on a trailer by using clear plastic that is used to hang 1/2" pvc pipe. I used the trailer screws to hold them.

Has anyone on here ever install rope lights on truck or trailer all the way around it? If so how did you mount them on to The truck?? Looked all over the forum but did not find any info. Thank you for any help in advance.
