New York. They are no longer there but continue to flourish in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY.  &lt;br&gt;  It was great fun! They used to do a "Kitchen Sink" that contained about 24 huge scoops of ice cream with all the toppings in the house and could easily feed a dozen people for only $6.00. According to Wikipedia, they still offer it. Great idea for a thread! We need to know where these gems are! This topic though should be moved to the Ice Cream and Custards forum. &lt;br&gt; &amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt; The last one I know was Cairncross Chemists in downtown London, Ontario&amp;nbsp;but it closed down over 25 years ago. Worst of all I'm sad to say I never patronized it, primarily because i never knew it was there. Cairncross looked like a very boring drug store from the outside. There was nothing in the window display&amp;nbsp;that would&amp;nbsp;have drawn a young fellow inside.
