Regarding Cleveland Italian, we had a very good meal at Chinato (Tuscan Onion Soup) and a really so-so meal at Fahrenheit.

I was coming that way to get warm, there's enough snow drifts up here. Unless you're talking about sandstorms. Yes Chef still kicking and licking or at least my customers are.

I assume you'll be traveling on I-40 to AZ.
I suggest you pack some emergency supplies in your trunk because as you get to OK and the TX panhandle, NM & AZ you can hit some nasty weather and long, desolate stretches of highway with high winds and lotsa drifting during storms.

I looked up the Burgers in Cincinnati, I should have went there last year. We went to the Ford museum in Dearborn and were humping it down south, it was getting late when we hit Cincinnati I just wanted to get passed it and grab a motel for the night, it seemed like forever but we finally saw a sign that said Covington so we pulled into a motel. My wife still calls it the hooker motel, it absolutely amazed me that anyone could rent those rooms with a straight face. Maybe this year we'll hit the burger stand but not the motel.

Thanks guys, last year we stayed at the motel with the guitar pool just up the street from Graceland, we went to see The Million Dollar Quartet (really good if you get the chance) after the show we were hungry so just up the street there was a BBQ sign didn't think you could get bad BBQ in Memphis boy was I wrong.

I wish I could share Root-Beer Man's enthusiasm of Leonard's. I had their BBQ Buffet
back in 2009 at the President's Day Weekend Annual Glee Club event and it was nothing short of disappointing.

The best BBQ I've had in Memphis is at Payne's BBQ on Lamar Blvd. You will not be dissappointed.

When we were in Memphis this summer we ate at Leonard's and had a great BBQ buffet. All you could eat and some really great sides. Their Que was great and there was lots of it. They've been in business forever and the care they took with their food, (even on their buffet, which we usually don't get) was unmatched. Avoid Gus's Chicken, it was just not very good and the sides sucked. The sweet tea was OK, but that won't save a bad meal. If you're going to be going through Cincinnati you absolutely must stop in at Terry's Turf Club. You'll have the best burger in the US. I've yet to have a better burger anywhere.

Cleveland is our first stop, then Nashville, Memphis and on to Phoenix.
We were in Nashville and Memphis last year and ate at some nasty places so give me some good ones please. Is there some must see places between Memphis and AZ?
Love meat and Italian. On the way home I'd love to go to Springfield to see the Doctor but I don't know if time and weather will permit.
