if it's so good, why wouldn't he then sell it to a relative or friend? I'm still suspicious...

None of my relatives or friends want my business or are smart enough to run it.
Most of the population are employees, only a small percentage are entrepreneurs.

Out here street eats needs tons of people for it's stores.
for like 25 stores there are like 3 stands/carts for them.
when I get my cart I was thinking of working with them.
but being with a catholic church we can almost get in anywhere.

I had a business relationship with Home Depot for five years. There were seven stores in my region, I was around 3-4 stores daily, all the stands were busy.
They had dogs, coffee, pastries, soda, smoothies, etc.
They were 20' trailers staffed by two employees during peak hrs.
So in the morning they did a booming coffee business then went into dogs around 10am.
I always wished that I could have won the contract for those stores. Same guy owned all but one of them, that one was poorly run, and had a high turnover of owners. No one could ever seem to make a go of that location. It was also in a more ethnic area and was a slower store.
So if there is some goodwill there plus equipment, 90k would work if the books wern't cooked.
You would need to have a solid lease too.

I believe there is a limit on any product you sell.
It might be a million Hot Dogs or it might be 20 years, it depends on the individual.
When you want out someone should be smart enough to want in.
Sometimes they can't see the forest for the trees.

There are many reasons to sell. It doesn't always come down to dollars and cents. I recently sold a still very profitable business simply because my heart wasn't in it anymore., and it just was time to do something else.

Why would anyone eat hot dogs? Because sometimes you just can't beat a good hot dog!!!

I was figuring 6 figures was 100,000.
If they can prove 6 figure sales, I can make it work.
Considering,
You have no experience. They will provide that.
That Vegas has a high unemployment rate. People would be glad to make 30 to 40,000 a year.
You are getting a prime proven location.
But hey you have to be ready to invest in yourself.

Totally disagree... Very suspicious... Was stung similar to this, buying a trucking company several years ago... 1.) Why is the seller selling? 2.) if the seller says "over 6 figures in sales" to me that means just over, or they would say $150K or $200K. 3.) The 1x sales rule only applies to businesses that have employees and can virtually run itself. And must be over more than just a million or so in revenue, and is just a starting point. 4.) That's not enough revenue to support a living, much less support a living AND payments. 5.) Why would you eat hotdogs at Home Depot when you can get "all you can eat" at any Casino in Vegas for a reasonable amount? (I can't ever remember seeing a McDonalds in vegas except for the one on the strip) 6.) an 8 x 20 trailer footprint scares me as well. How do you get that into the store? 7.) Hotter than heck in the desert.

It actually sounds like a good deal to me.
Of course you would need the actual books to make a real comment. I would also like a guarantee from HP or the seller that I would have at least 5 years.
