(Eric B)</title><description>  Though it was only a temporary specialty from several years ago; the Apple Cupcakes. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  The Angel Cakes, which were seasonal and from even longer ago, also were unique. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  The old Twinkie taste (the sweeter creme). Chocodiles. The orange cupcakes too. Suzy-Q's &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Then, of course, the basic Drake's line: Devil Dogs, Yankee and Sunny Doodles, Ring Dings, Yodels, the unique, kosher mini-pies, and from years ago, the swiss rolls, and from even further back, the strawberry and banana Shortcakes (the fake Twinkies, basically). Lemon cookies &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Dolly Madison &lt;br&gt;  Yellow Zingers &lt;br&gt;  Banana ["flip"] Dream (inherited from Mickey) &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Here in NYC, &lt;b&gt;Joey's&lt;/b&gt; (from NJ) and &lt;b&gt;Mrs Freshley's&lt;/b&gt; (Flowers 3d party distribution label) have taken over the Hostess/Drake's racks &lt;br&gt;  Recent news has the&amp;nbsp;earlier&amp;nbsp;named two most likely pursuers; Flowers and Bimbo, still looking into buying.
