Very sad news. Spent many late nights at Sarge's. Hope they'll be back up and running in the future!

While I don't think Sarge's is on the level of Katz's or 2nd Avenue Deli, it really is an institution. Plus, they were open 24 hours, which made for a LOT of unnecessary late-night meals back in my single days. I haven't eaten there in years, but I would miss them if they didn't reopen.
