Yay! I hope so. And yes--the steak ones are great.
I was going to save this for my 2013 pie trip report, but I'll go ahead and post it here now. It's Hardee's pork chop and gravy biscuit. Ridiculously good.

Having just had both Bojangles and Hardee's biscuit sandwiches in the past week or so, for me, Hardee's had a slight edge on size and flavor.
However! I could not get a Hardee's biscuit after breakfast hours, and Bojangles serves them all day. If Bo's biscuits were lousy, I wouldn't care how late they served them, but they're decent.

Hardee's and Carl's Jr are now the same company.
Carl's Jr started making biscuits using the same ingredients and technology as Hardee's.
Had some this past weekend and they taste like I remembered Hardees to be.
Jack in the Box also makes a good Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit and they sell them 24/7

Well dagnabbit, my Carl's doesn't have them, but you're right--Jack makes them all day, and I think maybe McD's has them in the a.m. I still want them with steak, country ham, or pork on them, but I'll have to move east to get that.

Hang in there! They're rolling them out (No pun intended) region by region. They started in SoCal, then AZ. You'll probably be getting them shortly.
They do have ham & bacon in addition to link & patty sausage but I wish they would add the Hardee's Steak biscuit. that one's the best!

I enjoy ChicAFila's chicken biscuit ,yum. Biscuits are really good.Don't have them too often,unless it's Saturday when I go in early to TJMaxx to clean. That's what I do there on the wekkends,though sometimes I close,mainly during the week in the fitting room.

Flo's Take-Out in Wilson, NC has great pork tenderloin with cheese biscuits. They use the hoop cheddar cheese and it is out of this world. All of their biscuits are great. Definitely worth a detour off I-95 if you are driving north or south in the AM.

After reading about the favorable responses to Hardee's biscuit sandwiches, I finally had one the other day. I wasnt expecting much, and I was wrong. It really was good. Very good actually. Easily the best FF biscuit sandwich I think i've ever had. I was impressed.

Ironically, we have a Tudors Biscuit World in Weirton, and I hate that place. I just dont like Tudors.

+1 on both. Hardee's biscuits are surprisingly good FF, and Tudors are about the greasiest I have ever tasted.

I'd settle for a biscuit up here. 95% of the places up here selling biscuits need to go to remedial biscuit school.

That's true of my neck of the woods as well. The best I get here are at Popeye's Chicken (or Pillsbury's) and I don't know how well or poorly the ones at Popeye's compare to the others mentioned in this thread.

I've not tried Pillsbury's frozen biscuits, but it makes sense that they'd be good: When I make biscuits I freeze all the extras, and they're fantastic re-heated in a regular (not microwave) oven.

Please keep the photos of biscuits coming. They're all drool-worthy!

I overdid it this morning. Martins in Douglasville,GA. The smoked link biscuit is the size of a Hardee's biscuit and the chicken version is the size of a hamburger bun. Those are real scrambled eggs also. Killer biscuits.

The chicken one made my mouth water just looking at it and thinking about having one! So off to the kitchen I go to make me a homemade chicken and biscuit!!

Those sound fantastic....however, I consider the biscuit a "country ham holder" and find that the little Grands or Mary B's serve the purpose. Next time I make some scratch shrimp and grits I will score me some duck fat. Already know where I can find some. Thanks for the recipe.

Hardee's Chicken homemade biscuit with gravy added has to be the best breakfast biscuit as far as for a FF joint. I used to work there and they grade you on your biscuits. Mine were always A's !!
