But I did drive by one on the way back from Costco early this week.

Their big claim to fame is fresh ground beef, never frozen. If their meat is so good why do they insist on cooking every patty well done? So you end up with a hockey puck of a burger. They won't even cook you a hot dog without splitting in down the middle.

Fries are usually very well done though.

Yes, the price of poker has gone way up since I was one of their original customers back in the '80's.

Nevertheless, I'm glad to hear that they still "do" decent food so very far away from Arlington, VA.

We went to our 5 guys a couple of days ago here in Port St Lucie, Fl. We had 3 "little cheeseburgers" 1 small fry and 3 free waters and I believe it was 17-18 bucks. Plenty of food for the 3 of us and good amount of fries for the $2.89 small. Burgers were tasty as were the fries.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem as though our local 5 guys is doing that well, there has been a very small amount of customers every time I've been. I don't think our town will support this place much longer.

Went out to Five Guys to give them a try,heard & read so many good things about them.Ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers,fries,and 2 sodas,cost 26.00 ,found price on high side,but the burgers and fries really put burger king,mcdonalds,wendys to shame,will be back,though not as much as i would like to.They are located by national liquidators on essex street & rt 17 north.
