I love them, not toasted, fried like a Grilled Cheese, in butter, with plenty of PB & J, I usually scald my mouth, but somehow they raise the PB& J bar a couple of notches. Anyone else like them?
I know Michael Hoffman will say "NO, I CAN"T STAND THEM", even though he does like them!

Right up my alley chewy. I'd put peanut butter on an old tire and eat it. Although I have never tried the grilled
PB&J, I have grilled PB with cheese. Also try a PB quesadilla.

Chewy, I just realized that you were referring to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. While I love peanut butter, I detest the combination of peanut butter and jelly. Tried it once when I was a kid. I haven't had the combination since, and intend never to have it again. And of course, as I said, I'd never heard of frying a peanut butter sandwich -- with or without jelly.

You probably wouldn't like peanut butter and a bread & butter pickle on a Ritz either.

I like peanut butter on a Ritz (had a few the other night). I don't eat pickles.

Done right, they are amazing! But they are easy to screw up, just ask my mother. Or rather, ask me, because she thinks she makes them just fine.

We used to have a restaurant in town that made a deep fried PB&J that was absolutely to die for. It was on the same order as a Monte Cristo, and I would go out of my way to eat one at least once a week.
